Your class instructor
Perinatal Educator, Advanced Doula (DONA), Birthful podcast creator & host
I'm Adriana Lozada, and since 2007, I’ve been helping new and expectant parents navigate their births and 4th-trimester experiences.
As the creator and host of the Birthful podcast, I’ve talked with hundreds of maternity professionals and new parents about every postpartum topic you can think of!
We've dug deep into the transition into parenthood, the biological needs of babies, navigating breastfeeding a newborn, understanding the support you'll need, your recovery, vaginal rehab, and so much more.
I bring to this course all the heart and mind knowledge gleaned from these conversations, all the hours pouring over the books and research, along with the copious experience from one-on-one support with my own clients (and of course, my own experience as a mom!) to help you thrive with your newborn in all aspects of your postpartum journey!
Weekly class modules are made up of a combination of videos, slide presentations, downloadable pdfs, and resources links, so you can go through the content at your on pace: all in one sitting, or a little bit each day.

“This course was amazing. My husband and I went through each video together (sometimes twice) and Adriana helped us get on the same page with our expectations for the first months after our baby was born. I can’t express how much stress was prevented through the knowledge we gained in Thrive With Your Newborn. I highly recommend this course!”

Whenever you decide!
This is a self-paced program, and all the course materials are available to you immediately after you sign up (although the course is structured as a 5-week course).
We usually recommend you start the postpartum class when you are around 30-34 weeks pregnant.
That should give you a bit of wiggle-room in case it takes you longer than 5 weeks to complete the course, or if your baby comes early.
The course is structured to be completed over 5 weeks, but because you have instant access to all the materials, you can go through it faster (or slower!).
In total, the course contains close to 8.5 hours of video, and you will need roughly 2-4 hours more to complete the different worksheets and other materials (or more depending on how deeply you dive into all the resources!).
Once you sign up for the course, you get life-time access (or at least for as long as the program exists... we don't have any intentions of taking it down, but we can't predict all futures!) If we update it, you will still get access to the new material.
You can go back and re-watch the materials as many times as you want. You can also use this course after future pregnancies.
You and your immediate family members caring closely for your baby can watch the materials (think partners, grandparents or aunties) but you may not share your log-in info with other pregnant friends or professional caregivers. This program is intended for your personal use only.
Thrive with Your Newborn comes with a no-hassle 7-day money back guarantee, from the day you purchase the course.
I want you to have a magnificent postpartum experience, and I KNOW that if you apply what you’ll learn in this course, you will. But if you find that this course isn’t a good fit for you, contact us and you’ll receive a full refund.
